Web, iPhone and Android are being tested privately. Public access and App Store and Google Play releases are not open yet. The website shows worked examples; its updates form offers one email when public access is ready.

Something it told you is wrong

This is the most useful thing you can report, and we would rather hear it than not. Send the topic, what the app said, and what you believe is actually the case — a source helps but is not required. memory.bike's whole argument is that noticing where an explanation stops being reliable is the skill worth having, and that has to apply to its own explanations first.

Deleting what is stored

Saved explanations, answers, drafts, feedback, corrections, revisions and your theme choice are kept on your device. Removing local data also removes that work:

• Web — clear browser site data for the address where you used the app.
• iOS — delete the app. Deleting it removes its stored data with it.
• Android — delete the app, or use Settings → Apps → memory.bike → Storage → Clear data.

Optional sync covers only Log explanation versions and interpretation verdicts, not complete rides. A sealed synced copy stays in your svc.nz box until you delete it there. Private AI generation files remain on the backend computer until its operator deletes them. Contact privacy@memory.bike for help with trial records; the privacy policy explains the separate stores.

The app will not start, or looks wrong

Saved work and prepared examples work offline. New AI drafts and comparisons need the private backend to be reachable and your AI sign-in to be valid. First close and reopen the app, then check storage and the connection if the problem involves AI. A backend restart or expired ride context can require a new AI ride, while saved work remains readable. Before deleting or reinstalling, remember that this can remove the only copy of your complete rides. If the problem continues, write to us with the device, OS version and what you were doing.

Accessibility

Every state the app draws as a colour is also written out for a screen reader, and turning on reduce motion stops all of it moving. If something is unusable for you, that is a bug we want reported, not a limitation you have to work around.

What it deliberately does not do

Some things people ask for are refused on purpose rather than missing. memory.bike does not score you — no percentages, no streaks, no "mastered" — because a number replaces the sentence that would actually tell you where you stand. It is also not a flashcard app: it starts from an explanation you already have rather than from a deck. If either is what you need, it is genuinely the wrong tool and we would rather say so.
